Collectable stickers / business cards

Monday, May 10th, 2010

These collectable stickers featuring characters from my comic book fanzine are what I currently give people as my personal business cards. I grew up collecting stuff like this, so of course I couldn’t just make any old regular Batemanesque card. I make sure to print them in uneven numbers, so that some of them are common and some of them rare. There’s even a super rare secret card I’m not showing you, featuring a character from my comic books that has yet to make an appearance. Nerdy! :P Notice the cards read “Series 1″, foreshadowing even more unnecessary work in my future. Sweet.

Fnugg #2

Saturday, April 24th, 2010

Holy crap! I made another comicbook! It is so rewarding to finally see Fnugg go from a one shot to a series. Or at least get a sequel. The next 5-6 issues are already churning inside my head, so lets hope the next one doesn’t take as long to get done. In this issue, the adventures of Nightshadow continue, and things start to get a little more complicated for him. Bully McDrunk returns, along with a couple of new additions, like the Pirate Detective Wayne Moon. The second issue of Fnugg is only in norwegian for now, so this is a good time to learn a new language.

Fnugg #1

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

I’m very proud to present something that has been long in the making. My own personal comic book fanzine, Fnugg. Some of the comics are old, some are new, because I’ve spent quite some time pondering how to release this. I’ve decided on something in between a comic book and a web comic, meaning you can download the entire comic in a handy .pdf file for free. You can even print your own physical copy if you like. Originally in norwegian, I’ve translated the first issue into english, as the internet happens to be “international”. I’m already working on the next issue, so any feedback would be nice.

Båtmannen (The Boatman) is a 4 page comic featured in Jippi Comics’ anthology Forresten, issue #22. It’s about a regular boatman, punching the clock and getting souls to the afterlife before going out with his pals for beer.

This logo is for my pet project comic fanzine. It will be so underground, you’ll need a shovel to find it.

Bråkmaker Fullesen

BM03

This is a sample of my comic strip Bråkmaker Fullesen (which translates to something like Bully McDrunk), about a lonely aggressive/abusive alcoholic. It’s pretty sad.
