Backside Disaster

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

This is yet another logo I made strictly for fun for a band project of some friends. The band’s musical style is teenage punk-rock and they take their name from a famous skate trick, so I’ve tried to convey some of the attitude of that scene.

Hole in the Sky X

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

This is the logo for the tenth annual Hole in the Sky festival, a metal festival held in Bergen, Norway. This was created during my one month long internship at Kamikaze Media. The logo is based on a design used in previous years made by the company, but this years profile has a distinct royal style with a hand drawn crown, celebrating the festivals ten year anniversary. The font used is slightly modified Authentic Ink.

Tomorrow ‘09

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

This is a logo for a fictional environmental conference made during a school assignment. The logo was part of a larger profile and is meant to change every year. The upper part of the exclamation point is meant to change with the theme of the year, and the lower with the location of the conference, this years theme being deforestation and the location being Nigeria.

Hos Gaute

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

This logo was made for my friends in-development sitcom project “Hos Gaute” (At Gaute’s) and is a pastiche of the crappy sitcom logos from the nineties. The sitcom takes place in an apartement owned (but not lived in by)  the unseen character Gaute. The apartement is inhabited by a ragtag group of characters of indefineable definition and occupation.

Nocturnal Emission

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

This is a logo for a band that I’m sort of in, except I don’t know how to play any instruments yet, but we do have at least three videogame inspired chiptune/powermetal albums planned. And now we have a logo. Neat!

Razika

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

This is a band logo I did just because I liked how the letters fit together. The band doesn’t know about it. If you happen to be in this band and like the logo, please say so.

Fnugg

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

This logo is for my pet project comic fanzine. It will be so underground, you’ll need a shovel to find it.

Bancu

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

Logo from a school assignment, this one supposed to represent a bank. I wanted to keep it classical and clean, yet fresh and friendly. The logo is based on Freight.

Sell-a-lot Records

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

This is a logo for the super indie record label Sell-a-lot records. They are so indie, they don’t even use it.

UPDATE: This is an older logo (never used) for the same record label.

The Robot Alphabet

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

This is a typographic experiment from a workshop where my goal was to create a digital alphabet book for robokids. The letters each represent a robot themed word or phrase, and the letters are robot shaped. They come in a handy box containing 26 floppies, each with one letter ready to install.
